With in-depth knowledge in the evaluation and optimization of environmental aspects in the construction industry, Benjamin Lammers started a career at Concular, where he works as a Product Owner. In this role, he is responsible for strategic product development and optimization, especially with regard to sustainable material cycles and digital solutions to promote the circular economy in the construction industry.

As a BIM specialist planning coordinator, Mr. Herbst accompanies the implementation of the BIM planning method and the realization of new BIM use cases in the company. His focus is on circular construction and the reuse of technical components. He is convinced that the BIM method is a key building block for a more sustainable building sector in the future and is strongly committed to the cross-company exchange of experience.

Karsten Spiess is responsible for “Data Management MEP/BIM” and heads the CADENAS BIM Competence Center branch. Mr. Spiess has been involved in product data management in the heating, sanitary, ventilation, air conditioning (HSLK), electrical (ET) and building automation (GA) trades for over 20 years. Karsten Spiess is author of various VDI guideline series 3805 for product data exchange, in addition he holds the position of deputy chairman VDMA ARGE BIM as well as deputy chairman of the committee VDI 3805 ET and GA, DIN SPEC 91555 on the topics of classification and standardization for the life cycle planning-building-operation. He is also project manager of TP1.3 (building planning and technical building services) of the DIAMOND research project “Digital plant modeling with neutral data formats”.

Prior to joining SAP, I completed my PhD in mechanical engineering at TU Darmstadt, where I focused on using AI approaches to automate product development processes.

Gordon Wirth, born in 1993, completed his dual shipbuilding degree (M.Eng.) in Bremen in 2018. He entered the world of PLM with his master's thesis, in which he focused on data and process management at a shipyard. After 9 years of practical industry experience, he found his calling as PLM process manager at Nikon SLM Solutions in additive manufacturing in 2022. Today, he and a small team are responsible for the comprehensive PLM implementation based on Teamcenter, NX and PartSolutions with interfaces to SAP and EPLAN. In this way, he is designing the digital twin for the manufacturing technologies of tomorrow.
